These terms apply when you use DesignMyCV, run by Shailesh Jalan. By signing in, you agree to them.

The service

DesignMyCV lets you build and edit a CV, check a CV's ATS score, and convert files between PDF and Word. These features are free. We may add, change or remove features over time.

No guarantee of results

The ATS score is an estimate based on common rules that applicant tracking systems follow. Every employer sets up its system differently, so we cannot promise that your CV will pass any particular system, or that you will get an interview or a job.

Your content

• Your CV and the files you upload remain yours. You let us store and process them only to provide the service to you.
• You are responsible for what you put in your CV. Please make sure it is true and that you have the right to use it.
• Converted files may not look exactly like the original. Check them before you send them to anyone.

Fair use

Please don't:

• upload files that contain malware, or that you don't have the right to use;
• try to break, overload or get around the limits of the site, or use automated scripts to use it;
• use someone else's email address or phone number to sign in;
• use the service for anything illegal.

We may limit, suspend or block accounts that break these rules.

Availability and liability

The service is provided free and "as is". We work to keep it running, but it may sometimes be unavailable, and files may occasionally fail to convert. Keep your own copy of important documents. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the service.

Ending your use

You can stop using DesignMyCV at any time and delete your account from your profile.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Pune, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.
